About Sandra

Empowering Leaders Through Integral Coaching

I’m Sandra Ansorge,  an internationally qualified Master Certified Coach (MCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I have been coaching across various industries since  2006.

Based in Cape Town, I work across African, European, and near-UTC time zones. As a coach and facilitator my style is approachable and highly interactive. I bring a high standard of ethics and excellence to every engagement.

For over 20 years, I have dedicated my coaching and facilitation practice to leadership development, empowering individuals and teams toward deeper self-awareness, alignment, and success.

Fundamentally I am schooled as an Integral Practitioner in both the coaching and facilitation environments. This growth model has allowed me to synthesize disciplines such as Positive Psychology, Transactional Analysis, and Physical Intelligence, bringing greater depth and richness to my work — a quality my clients recognise and appreciate.

My approach continues to evolve as I uncover new depths in understanding what it means to be a human being at this time.

Education

Educational Background

My journey into coaching began after being deeply immersed in setting right the wrongs of the past. In the mid 1990’s I was called to serve as an industry expert and learning and development specialist  to develop national vocational standards and qualifications where none had existed before.

It was a national collaboration effort across the retail and wholesale sector in South Africa, focused on broadening access to learning and career opportunities. It felt purposeful and necessary.

Over time, however, I began to notice the limitations of this system. Each unit standard defined a fixed set of outcomes, and I started to question what if the learner was capable beyond the prescribed results and what limitations were being set upon them?

That question led me to coaching, a field that continues to challenge and inspire me. In this work, I’ve seen individuals and teams grow in ways that could not have been predicted at the outset. Coaching allows for emergent learning—growth that unfolds through the process itself, not just by design.

Whether working one-with-one or with groups, I take on the role of facilitator—to make things easier, clearer, more possible. The work is dynamic, and often what unfolds goes far beyond the initial brief. This is one of the reasons I remain deeply engaged in what I do;  where I can contribute meaningfully—and continue to learn alongside those I work with.

Personal Interests and Past-Times

Beyond my work in coaching and facilitation, I’m an eclectic reader, love the great outdoors including hiking with my dogs, kayaking and photography.

I am passionate about environmental conservation and the interconnectedness of all living things. The wisdom of nature continually inspires me, reminding me of the delicate balance in all ecosystems and our role in it.

This philosophy shapes my approach to life and work—helping individuals and teams create sustainable, meaningful change.

Clients

I’ve had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life—corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals seeking an edge in both their personal and professional lives.

I have worked across a range of sectors including FMCG, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Information Technology, Pharmaceuticals, Shipping, Clothing & Textiles, Higher Education and Government Departments.
